National Arboretum Events Terrace

The Events Terrace is designated as the new premier venue site at the National Arboretum. Works include planting avenues of trees along the roads and walkways, installing seating and lighting, water management and drainage through WSUD principles, and the construction of five of the Gallery of Gardens:
- The Open Gardens Australia Garden (designed by HHL)
- Mununja The Butterfly Garden
- The Labyrinth Garden (designed by HHL)
- The Children’s Garden
- The Terra Australis Garden
The gardens are linked along a main avenue through the Events Terrace and were developed as key areas for functions, events and recreation at the National Arboretum.
