Majura Primary School
In 2006 Majura Primary School decided to embark on a revitalisation of the school environment that prioritises water-wise garden design principles; the use of grasses and wildflowers that are endemic to the Canberra region and an overall rethink of the quiet recreation and meet and greet spaces. The project focused on the environmental setting for the school. The budget for the master planning process was funded wholly from the school and the school community.
The planning and consultation process was embraced by all those within the project team and the school community. The planning method was inclusive and collaborative.
