Boundless Playground

Boundless Canberra is a playground comprised of a series of linked terraces and ramps that 'sit into' the topography and the vegetation in the North East corner of Kings Park, not far from the Carillion. The entrance bridges over a natural watercourse to a serpentine access path that winds down towards the lake. Cut and fill are balanced to ensure that the development is grounded in its location. The individual elements within the facility are visually linked to their immediate environment and grass banks are incorporated into play areas.

Designed in partnership with Scenic (now Indesco), Stage 1 opened in October 2014.
